Sunburst Horsemanship school offers the Lexington tourist/visitor the "total horse experience."

Experienced riders:

  • May attend personal riding clinics for dressage up to second level.

  • May attend Hunt Seat classes by appointment.

    •
First-time horse riders:

  • Learn about safety rules

  • Receive hands-on experience on how to:

    • Brush a horse

    • Saddle a horse

    • Ride a horse at a walk and trot.

    • Ride a horse at a canter or lope (optional).

  • Learn a bit about horse psychology and physiology.

What you need to know:

  • Cost is $50 per rider.

  • All rides by appointment.

  • Allow approximately 1-1/2 hours for the combined ground and riding time.

  • Flexible appointment schedules.
